Empleabilidad-Argo — 19 enero 2017

To whom it may concern,

We would like to thank FICYT, MECD and ARGO mobility program for giving us the opportunity of having practical internship in our company. SINTEF considers this program as very valuable since it is a very good way to start some collaboration with high skilled potential employees.

So far, our experience has been excellent with all trainees. The following are two examples of successful collaborations:

  • Melodia Perez (started the program in 2015) was offered to continue collaborating with us and the Technical University in Trondheim (NTNU) via a PhD. Unfortunately, this was not possible due to some internal regulations at NTNU.
  • SINTEF has extended the contract of another trainee (Carlos Pascual Guzmán, started the ARGO program in 2016) until summer.

We are very satisfied with the technical skills, team building abilities and attitude of the trainees. This clearly reveals that the selection process performed by the ARGO program has been carefully done and taking into account the companies and trainees needs.

We would also like to emphasize the importance of this program, both for the companies and for the trainees:

  • For the company it is important to get support from the ARGO program in order to get the best potential candidates and go through the training period, which is normally very expensive in Norway. This broadens the possibility at SINTEF for hiring new employees.
  • In our Department, we have experienced that being part of the ARGO program it is very relevant for the trainees. This program offers them the possibility of traveling abroad and meeting different working environments and cultures, which is a worthy experience whenever they start they career in Spain.

Finally we would like to emphasize the importance of ARGO program and we are looking forward for further collaboration in the short term.

Sincerely yours,
